Faux的传统图案(Toile de Jouy)故事
Toile传统重复图案最初源于18世纪中期的爱尔兰,这些忍受制作的瓷器很快就在英国和法国流行起来。 Toile de Jouy一词起源于18世纪末的法国,法语中它的意思为「来自巴黎西南郊区茹伊昂若萨小镇(south-west suburbs of Paris)的布料」。尽管那时候这些瓷器大量生产,随着大量的独创设计的陶艺工作坊兴起,2000年左右,陶瓷的受欢迎程度一直显著上升。以前这些设计只用作装饰使用,到了70年代,设计师们也开始将Toile传统重复的印花图案印在服饰上,而这些服饰也在当时被广泛地穿着。
Willow图案的起源及其重塑
Willow图案是一种独特而精致的中式风格图案,用于陶瓷、织物和壁纸,在十八世纪末在英国陶瓷艺术领域中流行起来,他们结合并改编了中国进口的时尚手绘青花瓷器图案。这种风格的演变发生在特伦特河畔斯托克(Stoke-on-Trent)和其他大规模生产餐具的地方的时期,已经开始使用雕刻和印刷的釉料转印于标准化装饰餐具(今称为贴花),而不是手绘。许多不同的中国风格风景画最初都是用这个方式制作的。Willow图案成为最受欢迎和持久的设计,透过不同图案的排序方法一直沿用至今。经典的颜色配搭为白色背景和蓝色的图案,亦有个别工厂使用了其他颜色。

Mariko's original design was referred to as a symbolic connection between Hong Kong and Japan's culture and trade. We are so proud!
