Each season, Faux has something new to offer. Hong Kong’s boutique design house combines the finest materials nature has to offer with original designs and exceptional craftsmanship to create gorgeous homeware and lifestyle products. These include rugs, throws, cushions, fabrics, beanbags, tableware, lighting and lifestyle accessories and much more. Being passionate supporters of the arts, the company partners, Louis Papachristou and Hugh Zimmern set up Artists’ Editions at Faux to marry their expertise in the world of architecture and interiors – textiles, ceramics and rugs – with works by contemporary artists. Artists’ Editions enable artists to explore different ideas and express themselves through mediums not normally associated with their art, giving their work exposure to a wider audience as functional art. These beautiful collections are growing every year, garnering much interest at home and overseas and include collaborations with Tsang Kin Wah, Wilson Shieh, Fung Ming Chip, Angela Su, Konstantin Bessmertny, Simon Birch and Richard Winkworth. These collections are garnering interest in Hong Kong and overseas.

For home interior design, Faux offers a whole range of hand-woven rugs, which can be customised to customers’ specifications. The design house works with a number of artists, illustrators, graphic artists and artisans who can create original, bespoke designs.

Our eco rugs are made with a variety of revolutionary organic yarns from Nepal, India, Tibet and the Philippines including materials such as cactus, soybean, aloe, hemp, nettle, bamboo, banana, linen, and Tibetan wool that offer beautiful textural variations. In Nepal, our rugs are made in collaboration with the Nepalese Women’s Welfare Society. Deprived and impoverished women in the region are trained to make products such as rugs and apparel by harnessing local sustainable materials such as bamboo and hemp to become local entrepreneurs. Our extensive range includes an array of contemporary silk and wool rugs.

If you want to set an exotic tone and brighten up your home décor for the new season, Faux continues to expand its range of exotic wild game hides and rugs. Invoke the stunning beauty of Africa with zebra, kudu, springbok, wildebeest and deerskin rugs. And get jungle inspired with our dyed and printed patchwork cowhide rugs from Brazil such as cheetah and leopard animal prints to gold and platinum metallic patterns and a plethora of vibrant colours from hot pink, teal and vermillion, to racing car green and Chinatown orange. These can be patch-worked into a whole array of rug patterns and designs. The design house also offers a beautiful range of luxurious eco-fur throws and rugs for you to curl up in or snuggle up on your sofa and keep you warm in your bed as the cool weather approaches. And Faux’s eco-fur rugs are so soft to touch under your feet. These include rabbit, possum, goat, and alpaca from Peru. Alpaca is considered the fiber of the gods and the ultimate in luxury. It’s no wonder there’s always something new to look forward to at Faux.
