Caroline Chiu studied in the USA at Tufts University and New York University as well as photography workshops at Rockport College in Maine. A full-time photographer, she uses a large format 20 x 24 Polaroid camera, which allows her to photograph images at extreme magnification, blowing objects up to 100 times their normal size. Most recently in 2010, she had a solo show at the Snite Museum of Art, University of Notre-Dame and other shows in Hong Kong and Tokyo.
